UPPSC PCS Vacancy 2025
UPPSC has announced the UP PCS vacancies along with the Official UPPSC notification pdf. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has introduced 220 vacancies for the UP PCS 2025 exam. This year, the vacancies for the Combined State Services Examination are 200.
UPPSC 2025 Application Form
The online application process for UPPSC PCS 2025 exam is to be conducted in online mode only, not offline mode this time. The registration dates for UPPSC 2025 Exam have been announced with UPPSC PCS Notification 2025. The commission has started accepting online applications from 20th February 2025 onwards and the last date to apply is 24th March 2025.

Educational Qualifications for UP PCS
For the posts included in the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination, the candidates must possess Bachelors Degree of any recognised University or equivalent qualification up to the last date for receipt of application. The post wise educational qualification is given below:

The UPPSC prelims and mains exam for UP PCS 2025 will be conducted offline across the state. The UPPSC 2025 PCS selection procedure has 3 stages:
1. Prelims (Objective/ MCQ)
2. Mains (Written)
3. Personality Test (Interview)
UPPSC 2025 Exam Pattern
The UPPSC PCS exam is a three-stage exam and the candidates need to appear in the UPPSC PCS prelims exam followed by the mains exam & Interview (Personality Test). The prelims exam is an objective type exam comprising two question papers.
UPPSC 2025 Prelims Exam Pattern
- The Prelims exam of UPPSC PCS 2025 is an offline mode of examination having 2 papers in different shifts.
- The total marks allotted for each paper is 200 and the total time allotted for the completion of each Paper of Prelims exam is 2 hours.
- The total number of questions in Paper-1 (General Studies I) are 150 while Paper-2 is of 100 marks.

Important Points:
1. Paper II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
2. It is mandatory for the Candidates to appear in both the papers of the Preliminary Examination.
3. The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I of the Preliminary Examination.
UPPSC 2025 Mains Exam Pattern
The UPPSC PCS mains written examination will consist of six compulsory and two optional Papers. The time allotted for each paper is 3 hours. The Pattern & and syllabus for the main examination is provided below:

Personality Test (Interview)
The Personality Test (VIVA-VOCE) will constitute 100 marks. The test will relate to the matter of general interest keeping the matter of academic interest in view and for general awareness, intelligence, character, expression power/personality, general suitability for the service, some general knowledge questions and current topics.

UPPCS 2025 Salary/ Pay Scale
The pay scale of all posts under the combined state services is Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs 4600/- (except Naib Tehsildar whose grade pay is Rs. 4200/-) to Rs. 15600-39100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Under the Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination the Pay-Scale, grade pay and status of Post are given as below:
Assistant Conservator of Forest- Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/-, Grade Pay- Rs.5400/-, (Level 10 in the pay matrix Group) Group “B”, Gazetted.

UPPSC 2025 Admit Card
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will release UPPSC 2025 Admit Card separately for Prelims, Mains, and interview round. The candidates have to download UPPSC Admit Card 2025 through online mode only from the official website www.uppsc.gov.in.
UPPCS 2025 Answer Key
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission also issues UPPSC PCS answer key for the prelims exam within one month of the exam. The candidates can check their answers and can raise objections to wrong answers in the provisional answer key at the official website of UPPCS.
UPPCS 2025 Result
The commission will release the result for each and every stage of the exam on the official website of UPPSC @https://uppsc.up.nic.in/. The prelims result will be released announcing the candidates to be shortlisted for Mains Exam. The final result will be based on UPPSC Mains & Interview Round.
