As the result for UGC NET June exam has been eclared online at www.ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can now download their scorecards by logging in to the portal online. The following login credentials are required to download UGC NET scorecards:

- Date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy)

Follow the below steps to check your result from the official website.
- Open the official portal for the UGC NET 2024 exam i.e. www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- The homepage of the exam portal appears on the screen. Find the “Public Notice” section.
- Under this section look out for the link labelled “UGC NET Result 2024”, and click on the respective link.
- The login portal opens up on the screen.
- Here, enter your application number along with your date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for UGC NET Exam
The UGC NET June 2024 exam consisted of papers 1 and 2 for 50 and 100 marks respectively. Only those candidates have passed the exam who scored 40% out of the total marks for the general category, and 35% marks for the remaining reserved categories.

UGC NET Merit List 2024
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), 6% of all candidates who take the UGC NET exam are selected for the merit list. Those on this list are eligible to join as Assistant Professors at various universities across the country. Additionally, the NTA creates a separate merit list for candidates who qualify for the UGC NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
UGC NET Result 2024- Normalization Process
NTA has adopted the normalization procedure as the UGC NET 2024 has been conducted in more than one shift. The authorities have calculated the scores for both shift examinations and then merged them to calculate the NTA percentile score. Then, the authorities consider the score whichever is less which is set as the cut-off mark for the specific category.
UGC NET Certificate 2024
All those candidates who have scored more than the category-wise qualifying marks in the UGC NET June 2024 exam are considered to pass this exam. These candidates will now be issued with UGC NET Certificate 2024 which serves as proof to determine the candidate’s eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship posts for universities and colleges in India. This certificate has a lifetime validity for those who appeared for the Assistant Professor exam and for the Junior Research Fellowship, the validity is for 4 years from the issuing date.
