TNTET 2025 Notification: The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) is a state-level examination conducted once a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts for Classes 1 to 8 in the schools of Tamil Nadu. THE TN TET Exam is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board. Candidates who qualify for the examination will be recruited for the positions of primary and upper primary school teachers in government schools across the state. TNTET 2025

The Tamil Nadu Recruitment Board will release the official notification regarding the TN TET 2025 soon. The exam application page will be made available to the aspirants through the official website i.e., www.trb.tn.nic.in. Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 Paper - I & II  exam is expected to be held in July 2025. TNTET 2025 Important Dates

TNTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria is an important aspect to be checked before applying for the TN TET 2025 Exam. Candidates who are going to apply for the Tamil Nadu TET Exam 2025 should check the eligibility criteria before applying to avoid any last-minute rush.

TNTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Paper-I

1. Candidates must have completed their diploma in Teacher education from a reputed institution.
2. Candidates must have 455 in their graduation with D.EL.ED/BTC or B.Ed.
3. Candidates who are pursuing the final year D.Ed exam are also eligible to apply for the TN TET exam 2025.

TNTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Paper-II

1. Candidates must have a degree in Chemistry, Math, English, Geography, Physics, Botany, and History and also have a diploma in B.ED or Elementary Education.
2. Final year B.ED students can also appear in the examination.
3. 18- 40 age-old candidates can apply for the TNTET exam. The age limit is decided by the government.

Steps to Apply for TNTET 2025 Exam

TNTET 2025 Registration

The candidates need to register themselves before applying for the TNTET 2025 Exam. The following steps could be followed for the registration process:

Step 1: Go to the official website www.trb.tn.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the notification for registration.

Step 3: Fill up all the required information

Step 4: Submit the form and keep a note of the ID and Password.

TNTET 2025 Application Form Filling

After successful registration candidates will be required to fill out the TN TET 2025 Application form. To fill out the TN TET 2025 Application form, the following steps could be followed:

Step 1: Log in to the official website with the registered ID and Password.

Step 2: Fill up the application form minutely with the required details.

Step 3: Upload the scanned image of a passport-size photograph and signature.

Step 4: Review the application form before final Submission.

Step 5: Pay the registration fee securely via Credit Card/Debit Card/Netbanking/UPI.

Step 6: Download and print out the application form for future reference.

TNTET Application Fee 2025

The applicants applying for the TN TET Exam 2025 need to pay the registration fee as the final registration process. The registration fee amount to be paid is mentioned below-

ST/SC/Disabled- 250/-

TNTET 2025 Exam Pattern

TNTET Exam will be held for the recruitment of teachers in primary and upper primary sections of various government aided schools across the state. Candidates can refer to the TNTET 2025 Exam pattern given below-

TNTET Exam Pattern- Paper 1

The TNTET 2025 Exam Pattern of Paper 1 consists of questions from sections like Child Development and Pedagogy, English, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. There will be 5 sections each of 30 questions carrying 1 mark each.

 TNTET Exam Pattern- Paper 2

The TNTET 2025 Exam Pattern of Paper 2 will consist of questions from sections like Child Development, Language 1, English, Maths, Science and Sst. 3 sections will carry 30 questions of 30 marks and the last section will carry 60 marks.

TNTET 2025 Admit Card

The candidates need to carry the admit card to appear in the TNTET Exam 2025. The Admit Card will be made available to download from the official website 7 to 10 days before the exam. The Admit Card will contain the following details:

5. Date of Exam
6. Exam Centre

TNTET 2025 Answer Key

The TNTET Answer key will be made available for the candidates after the commencement of the TNTET 2025 Exam. Candidates would be able to download the Answer key from the main website only.

TNTET 2025 Result

TNTET 2025 Result will be declared by the official Exam Conducting body and will be made available after 40 days of the exam. Candidates would be able to see and download their results from the TNTET Official website only. Candidates need to secure 60% marks to be eligible for the further rounds.
