For the selection of Telangana Police Constable, TSLPRB conducts the exam in multiple stages. Telangana Police Constable Selection process has three stages: Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Final Written Test. The exam pattern and syllabus for both written tests will be the same, but there is a difference in the difficulty level of the exam and the questions. - The Telangana Constable Preliminary Written Test consists of two subjects: Arithmetic Ability and Test of Reasoning and General Studies.

Telangana Police Constable Preliminary Test Syllabus 2025
Telangana Police Constable Syllabus will help the candidates to cover every topic of the syllabus in detail. Telangana Police Constable syllabus consists of English, arithmetic ability and reasoning, and general studies. The exam will be conducted in English, Telugu or Urdu, except for the English language questions. 200 questions will be asked from both sections: 100 questions from English, Arithmetic Ability and Reasoning and mental ability. And 100 questions will be asked from General Studies section.

Telangana Police Constable PMT & PET
The selection process, the second stage, is PMT ( Physical Measurement Test) & PET (Physical Efficiency Test), which is basically conducted to check the physical eligibility of the candidates. Candidates who qualify for the Preliminary Written test are only eligible to appear in the PMT and PET.
- Physical Efficiency Test consists of 1600 meters and 800 meters running, and Long jump & Short jump (7.26 Kgs for Men/4 Kgs for Women).
- Candidates who qualify the PET will only be eligible to appear in PMT, it consists of height measurements according to their categories.
Telangana Police Constable Final Test Syllabus 2025
Telangana Police Constable syllabus for the final written test is mentioned below. The candidates who qualify for the Preliminary exam will be allowed to appear in the final written test. The syllabus for both exams is the same except for one topic, which is the Personality test (the questions will be from Ethics, Sensitivity to Gender and weaker sections, social awareness, and Emotional Intelligence).
