SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2024

The selection of candidates for SSC Stenographer Grade C and D  posts is based on a computer-based test followed by a skill test. The candidates who qualify for the computer-based examination of 200 marks get shortlisted for the Skill Test. Those candidates who pass both stages successfully are finally selected for the released vacant posts.

SSC Stenographer CBT Exam Pattern

The computer-based test for SSC Stenographer posts is conducted for a total of 20 marks and the question paper is set in bilingual language i.e. Hindi & English, except for Part III which is in the English language.   • +1 will be given for every correct answer.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • Candidates will be allotted a total of 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete their exam, in the case of a scribe 2 hours and 40 minutes will be allotted.
