The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started accepting online application forms for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 from 24th June 2024 onwards at www.ssc.gov.in. Good news for all SSC aspirants who are waiting for the SSC CGL 2024 Exam, the SSC CGL 2024 Notification has been released for a total of 17727 vacancies for various Group B and C posts. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can submit their duly filled application forms for the SSC CGL 2024 exam. Application forms will be accepted in online mode only and any application form through other means will not be accepted. The lakh candidates who want prestigious government jobs in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunal can apply online for SSC CGL 2024 from the official website of SSC or the direct link shared here. The candidates can proceed to submit the application fee for SSC CGL 2024 either via online mode (through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards). A candidate must pay Rs. 100/- as to SSC CGL 2024 Online Application Fee. The category-wise examination form fee details are given below:

Steps to Apply Online for SSC CGL 2024 Exam

Candidates are supposed to apply online to register and appear for SSC CGL 2024. Below are the steps that one needs to take for successful online registration for the exam:

The process of filling online application for the examination consists of two parts: 

I. One-Time Registration 

II. Filling out Online Application for the Examination

Step 1: Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the new website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) i.e. https://ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Now click on “Apply” appearing on the right side of the homepage. After that click on “Apply” in front of Combined Graduate Level Examination,2024. 

Step 3: A new page with url- https://ssc.gov.in/login appears on the screen. Candidates are required to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC CGL 2024.

Step 4: For Already Registered Candidates- Enter your registration number and password and then enter your basic details like name, parents name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.

For New Registration- Click on “Register Now” and create a new registration number and password. Afterwards, enter your basic details required. 

Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form for SSC CGL. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC CGL 2024 exam.

Step 6: In the next step, candidates are required to upload photographs and signatures by following the requisites mentioned by the Staff Selection Commission of India.

Photograph - The photograph of a candidate must be clicked in front of white color or light colored background. The size of the photograph must be more than 4 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the photograph must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.

Signature - The signature provided by the candidate must be in black or blue ink on the white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature that needs to be submitted must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the image should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form of SSC CGL 2024.

Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application of SSC CGL once to look for any glitches in the form, if any as the application form once submitted cannot be edited again.

Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC CGL 2024 application form and pay the required application fee.

It is advised that Candidates download and get print copies of the submitted application form of SSC CGL 2024.

Candidates are required to apply online to register themself for the SSC CGL 2024 exam for which the online registration link has been made active on 24th June 2024 on the official website of www.ssc.gov.in. Specifications in SSC CGL Online Registration 2024

While uploading the photograph and signature, the applicants must go through the specifications required which have been tabulated below. 

Note- The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet & the photograph must be clicked in front of white colour or light-colored background.

Documents Required for SSC CGL Online Registration

For SSC CGL One-Time Registration, the candidate needs the following documents/details:

a) Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)

b) Email ID (to be verified through OTP).

c) Aadhaar number. If the Aadhaar number is not available, please give one of the following ID Numbers. (You will be required to show the original document at a later stage):

1. Voter ID Card
2. PAN
3. Passport
4. Driving License
5. School/ College ID
6. Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)

d) Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.

e) Disability Certificate Number if you are a person with benchmark disability.

Important Points to Remember 

1. The application process is entirely online. No other mode of application will be accepted.
2. E-mail id and mobile number should be kept active for any future correspondence. The authorities will communicate with candidates through Email and SMS.
3. Evidence for claims made by the candidate while applying online should be uploaded by the candidate at the time of registration itself. The same will be verified subsequently at the time of the Certificate Verification and Interview process
4. Candidates must fill out the complete form before the last date of online mode.
5. Save the Application and Acknowledgement documents for future reference.
6. Candidates should indicate their order of preferences at this stage. No requests for change in this connection shall be entertained.
