SEBI Grade A Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025

SEBI Grade A Selection Process 2025

The selection process for SEBI Grade A is consists of three phases namely Phase 1, Phase 2 and Interview. 

Phase 1: The SEBI Grade A Phase 1 screening exam that consists of objective type multiple choice questions. The exam will be held in online mode consisting of two papers of 100 marks each.

Phase 2: The phase 2 online exam consists of two 2 papers. Each paper consist of 100 marks. This exam has both objective and descriptive questions.

Phase 3: The final stage is interview that assesses the candidate's personality. Candidates can choose to take the interview in either English or Hindi.

SEBI Grade A Exam Pattern 2025

The selection of the candidate will be done through 2 online examinations followed by an interview round. Phase-1 is a screening test and the marks scored in this stage will not be considered for final selection. The final merit list for SEBI Grade A 2025 will be prepared based on marks scored in mains & interview round. SEBI Grade A Syllabus consists of two online papers for which the complete exam pattern is as follows-

SEBI Grade A Exam Pattern [Phase 1]

• An online examination which has two papers each paper carries one hundred (100) marks
• Paper 1 will consist of 60 minutes (1 hours) duration and the same for all the streams.
• Paper 2 will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions, the duration of each section is 40 minutes.
• The Aggregate Cut-off to be scored is 40%.
• There shall be a negative marking of ¼th mark for both Paper 1 & 2.

SEBI Grade A Phase-2 Exam Pattern

1. An online examination will be conducted in the form of two papers each of 100 marks in total. 

2. Paper-1 will be descriptive in nature and time duration for paper 1 is 60 minutes (1 hour).

3. Paper-2 will be Multiple-Choice Questions and each section shall be of 40 minutes. 

4. The Aggregate Cut-off to be scored is 50%. 

5. There will be negative marking of ¼ for the paper 2 in phase II.
