NEET UG 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has added a new rule to resolve ties in NEET UG 2025 scores if the existing methods do not work. As per the NEET UG information bulletin, if two or more students get the same marks and the seven tie-breaking rules fail to decide the ranking, another step will be used. In such a situation, an expert committee will step in to find a fair way to break the tie. They will use a random process to decide the final ranking. This means if no other method works, the selection will be done by chance. This ensures that every candidate gets an equal and unbiased opportunity in case of a tie.
