In the ongoing matter of the NEET 2024 Controversy, today (July 22, 2024) a bench led by DY Chandrachud with Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra started the day’s hearing. In the previous hearing on July 19, the court ordered the NTA to release the NEET Centre Wise Result 2024 at its official website.
In today’s hearing, multiple serious factors related to the NEET 2024 matter were taken into consideration. The court discussed all the factors and chances of paper leak, timings or date of paper leak, etc. By the end of the day, the discussion reached a point where the questions were pointed to the correction made in the final answer key released by the NTA.
While announcing the NEET Final Answer Key 2024, NTA shared data stating that around 44 candidates got their names in the top scorer’s list due to the changes made in the Physics answer key in the final stage. Now, after taking into account this topic, the court has ordered the IIT Delhi faculty to constitute a team of experts who will examine and share their expert opinions on the physics questions.
The hearing for the day was stopped at this point, and the hearing was announced that it would start tomorrow from this point only.
