The University Grants Commission (UGC) releases a list of fake universities operating in India every year to ensure that students don’t get into the trap of these fake universities. All the universities that are operating without having legal authorization to confer degrees sometimes mislead students with their fake promises to offer them degrees of multiple courses.

Therefore, as a step to highlight all these fake universities and prevent students from getting trapped in the fake promises the UGC regularly updates the list of Fake Universities in India.
