The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has started the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination Final examinations for class 10 students at various examination centers from Feb 18, 2025. The board started the exams with the ICSE Class 10 English Exam 2025 in the morning shift starting at 11 am on February 18, 2025.
As per the guidelines issued by the CISCE Board, it is clear that the students with 75% or more attendance in their classes will be able to appear for the final examinations. The shift timings for the English examination will be between 11 am and 01 pm where an additional time of 15 minutes will be provided to all the students to complete all the formalities and question paper reading.
The board has instructed that for the exams starting at 11 am, students must reach their exam halls by 10:30 am while for the exams starting at 09 am, they are required to enter the exam hall by 08:30 am.
ICSE Class 10 Exam Day Guidelines
Along with the announcement of ICSE Class 10 Exam Date 2025 the board also released the ICSE Class 10 Exam Day Guidelines as instructed below:
- All the aspiring students for the ICSE Class 10 Exams are required to reach their exam hall a minimum of 30 minutes before the scheduled exam timings
- No student will be allowed to exit the exam hall before the exam completion
- If any student gets a wrong question paper or holds any wrongly printed question then must report the same immediately to the examiner
- All the students need to carefully read all the mentioned instructions on the question paper in the first 15 minutes reserved as the question paper reading time
- All the students must only attempt only the number of questions asked to be answered
- If any student is using any graph, extra sheet or any other document then must write their Unique Id, index number, and subject number on it
- Students can only write their answers using a blue or black pointed pen.
- Answer Sheet Format:
- Write answers on both the sides of answer sheet unless instructed otherwise
- Must leave margin on both sides of the answer sheet
- Write the question number of the margin-left on the corners while avoiding copying the whole question
- Must leave a blank line at the end of each question
- Try to write answers in as clear handwriting as possible to ensure better understanding for the teachers
- Use correct spelling in answers.
- It is required that the students must carry their own stationery items as no student will be allowed to borrow anything from other students during the exam.
