CLAT 2025 Notification Releasing on July 7, Exam on December 1

The Consortium of NLUs to release the notification regarding CLAT 2025 in print/electronic media on July 07, 2024. In a notification issued at https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/, it is mentioned that the authorities will release the CLAT Notification 2025 for the examination scheduled to be conducted on December 01, 2024. The CLAT 2025 Notification to be released will comprise information like the CLAT application form release date, the deadline for submission, etc.

In a press release shared by the Consortium of National Universities on May 06, 2024 it was mentioned that the CLAT Exam 2024 for the academic session 2025-26 will be held on December 01, 2024 (Sunday) between 02:00 PM and 04:00 PM.

The Consortium of NLUs conducts CLAT Exam as a process for admission into undergraduate and post-graduate level law courses in the 22 NLUs and other participating universities. This exam comprises 120 questions to be answered by the candidates within the duration of 2 hours.

The objective of this test is to analyze the understanding of candidates about topics such as the English language, current affairs (including general knowledge), logical reasoning, legal reasoning, and quantitative techniques. Read more about CLAT Syllabus 2025

While the CLAT PG exam is oriented at analyzing the candidate’s understanding of jurisprudence, family law, criminal law, property law, administrative law, law of contract, torts, company law, public international law, tax law, environmental law, and labor and industrial law.

The CLAT 2024 registration fee for the general category candidates is INR 4,000 while for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and BPL category need to pay INR 3,500 as the registration fee.
