CBSE Paper Leak 2025: Board Denies Rumors, Announces Strict Action Against Perpetrators

The Central Board of Secondary Education has rejected all the claims regarding the Paper Leaks. The board in the official notification released on its official website mentioned “baseless and are intended to create unnecessary panic among students and parents.”

As per the CBSE Date Sheet 2025, class 10th and 12th exams are to be conducted between February 15 and April 04, 2025 at various exam centers. The board has advised all the parents and appearing students to be cautious about the regularly spreading rumors on social media and news platforms about the CBSE paper leaks.

CBSE Paper Leak Fake Rumour

In the past few days, there have been several reports and claims about the CBSE Paper Leaks on various social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube and X (previously Twitter). All the claims were fake and were reportedly misleading students with the fake promises.

The CBSE Board made an official notification reassuring all the students and parents that the board has made all the necessary efforts to ensure the smooth conduction of exams while ensuring the competitive nature of the exam.

Strict Action Against Perpetrators

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released a waining of Strict Action Against the individuals spreading fake news and rumors. The board has announced an active collaboration with law enforcement agencies to identify and track down the responsible.

As per the CBSE rules, posting or sharing any exam-related content on social media platforms is a serious offense and any student found caught doing so will have to face strict punishment including the cancellation of student candidature and being barred from appearing in the exams for the next three years.

Consequences for Spreading Misinformation

As per the CBSE’s official rules, spreading or sharing any exam-related information is illegal. If anyone, including students, is caught spreading such details, they will face action under CBSE’s Unfair Means (UFM) rules and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The board has warned that law enforcement agencies are closely watching all platforms. They will track down and take action against those spreading fake news about paper leaks. CBSE has made it clear that sharing false information can lead to serious consequences. Students and the public are advised to avoid rumors and follow official updates only to stay safe from legal trouble.
