Marking Scheme of NEET
In the NEET exam, you get 4 marks for each correct answer. If your answer is wrong, 1 mark is cut. If you select more than one option for a question, you also lose 1 mark. However, if you skip a question, no marks are added or cut. Negative marking happens only if you give a wrong answer or select multiple options. So, it’s safer to leave a question blank if you are not sure about the answer. Guessing may reduce your score if you are wrong. To score better, focus on accuracy and avoid unnecessary mistakes while answering.
