The University of Delhi has released the DU Vacant Seats List 2024 list for the second round of undergraduate admissions on August 22, 2024. All the candidates are now able to check the list of vacant seats by simply visiting the official portal of the CSAS i.e., www.admission.uod.ac.in. DU Dean of Admissions Haneet Gandhi has shared 65,483 candidates have confirmed their seats for admission by paying the desired admission fee.
The DU is conducting admission for 71,600 seats (excluding supernumerary seats) across 69 colleges. As per the official statistics, this year 2,45,287 candidates have completed their registration for the CSAS UG Phase 1 with 1,83,543 candidates completing registrations for phase 2.
DU Vacant Seats List 2024 Out
The authorities have released the DU vacant seat list on August 22, 2024 at its official website. This list displays the remaining seats available in various courses after the initial rounds of admissions. It provides an opportunity for students who were not allotted a seat earlier to secure admission to their preferred course.

DU Vacant Seats List 2024 For Round 2
In the initial round of seat allocation, the University has opted to carry out additional seat assignments to ensure that all available seats are filled before the academic session begins on August 29, 2024. A total of 97,387 seats have been distributed in this first round. Candidates had the opportunity to select from 1,559 different programs and college combinations for their undergraduate admissions.
Of the 2,45,287 students who applied during the first phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), 1,85,543 candidates submitted their program and college preferences. Altogether, the University received 1,72,18,187 preferences in this first round of admissions.
DU Vacant Seats List 2024 For Round 2 PDF Download
The University of Delhi will soon activate the link to check and download the DU Vacant Seat List 2024 for Round 2 at its official website. Candidates are informed that the list of vacant seats will be released in an online PDF format, so they will not be required to enter any login credentials to access the list. Only after the release of the vacant seats list in the CSAS 2024 Round 2 students will reorder their preferences so that the chance of a seat in Round 3 increases. DU Admission 2024 Round 2
As per the released schedule, the results for the second round of seat allotment are scheduled to be released on August 25, 2024 with candidates required to confirm their seats by August 27, 2024. Colleges will complete the verification and approval of admissions by August 29, and the deadline for fee payment is set for August 30, 2024.
This year, there are approximately 71,600 undergraduate seats available at Delhi University [DU] colleges. The seat allocation in the first round exceeded the total available seats by 36 percent, as the university aims to ensure optimal seat utilization before the academic session starts on August 29, 2024.
