The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam is responsible for conducting the Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT). The Assam PAT 2024 is a state-level entrance examination conducted once a year. The examination is provided for admission in various three-year Diploma courses in Engineering and Technology offered by polytechnic institutes in the state of Assam. Assam PAT 2024 Application Form Out

The Assam PAT 2024 [Assam Polytechnic Admission Test] is an entrance exam held for students who want to join polytechnic diploma courses in Assam. Assam PAT 2024 is conducted as a pen-and-paper-based test at various examination centres.  To participate in the entrance exam, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the Assam PAT application form 2024 before the final date i.e., June 15, 2024. The Assam Pat exam usually includes questions from subjects like Mathematics and Science. For appearing in the Assam Pat exam 2024 candidates should have passed class 10th or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with mathematics and science as compulsory subjects. As of now, no official notification has been released by the DTE regarding the Assam PAT 2024.

The Assam PAT 2024 exam will be conducted in offline mode (Black ballpoint pen and OMR Sheet) and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will be given a total time duration of 2 hours to complete the examination. The Assam PAT 2024 paper will be divided into two different sections: Mathematics, and Science. After completion of exam, the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam, will release a merit list based on the candidates’ performance in the Assam Polytechnic entrance exam 2024.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam has finally started the registration process for the upcoming Assam PAT 2024 Examination on June 01, 2024. Steps to Fill Assam PAT 2024 Application Form

Step 1 – Visit the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam i.e., www.dte.assam.gov.in.

Step 2 – On the homepage click on the “Apply Online” link.

Step 3 – Fill in all the basic details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID in the provided area.

Step 4 – Now log in using the registration credentials.

Step 5 – Fill in your respective personal and academic details in the application form.

Step 6 – Upload the scanned copy of a passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format.

Step 7 – Now preview the application form to ensure that all details are correctly filled.

Step 8 – Pay the application fee of Rs. 500 through the available modes of payment.

1. Online Payments: Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Cards.
2. Offline payments:  At any branch of the State Bank of India by printing the generated Bank Challan and depositing the fee amount at any nearby SBI Branch.

Step 9 – Click on the “Submit” button.

Step 10 – Download and also take a printout of the application form for future reference.

Assam PAT 2024 Eligibility

Below we have provided the complete eligibility criteria for Assam PAT 2024 Examination.

1. Candidates of the General/OBC category should be 20 years 6 months on the admission year while Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates should be 23 years 6 months on the admission year.
2. For Institutions outside Assam, the maximum age limit is 20 years and 6 months on the admission year.
3. Candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as a compulsory subject with 40% marks [average] in Mathematics and Science for General Candidates.
4. 35% marks in Mathematics and Science for Scheduled Caste Candidates. Whereas the Scheduled Tribes Candidates must score 33% marks in Mathematics and Science
