The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) has released an official notice regarding the class 10th and 12th exam dates on November 07. As per it, the JKBOSE Class 10, 12 Exams 2025 are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025. All the class 10th and 12th students who are going to appear for the 2024-25 academic session exams are informed that the complete exam timetable is yet to be released. Once the timetable is out students will be able to access it through the official website www.jkbose.nic.in.
JKBOSE Date Sheet 2025
As per the newly released notification, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) will change the academic calendar to a November-December session starting from the 2025-26 academic year for both class 10th and 12th students. As of now, the JKBOSE has planned to conduct the exams for classes 10 to 12 from February 15, 2025. For students in classes 1 to 9, the exams will follow the same exam routine as for the November-December session in 2024.

The Jammu & Kashmir board will release the date sheet for the class 10 and 12 exams soon, which will provide the subject-wise schedule, exam timings, and guidelines for students. Students can download the JKBOSE Class 10 and 12 exam date sheet for 2025 from the official website, jkbose.nic.in.

Passing Marks for JKBOSE Class 10, 12 Exams 2025
Along with the announcement of the starting dates for JKBOSE Class 10th and 12th exam dates 2025 the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) has also released a few other important things that are to be kept in mind before appearing for the exams.
- Theory Exam: To pass the theory exams of each subject, students are required to score at least 33% of the total theory marks. In a subject with a 100-mark theory exam, a student needs a minimum of 33 marks to pass.
- Practical Exam (if applicable): For subjects that include practical exams (such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, etc.), students must also score at least 33% in the practical component. For instance, if the practical exam is out of 30 marks, the student needs a minimum of 10 marks to pass.
- Overall Passing Criteria: To pass a subject overall, students must achieve a combined score of at least 33% across both theory and practical exams. If a subject has a total of 100 marks (70 for theory and 30 for practical), the student needs a minimum of 33 marks combined to pass.
