NEST 2025
For the year 2025, the NEST exam is scheduled for June 22, 2025 and will be conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. It will consist of 68 questions, with a total of 200 marks. Steps to Fill Out the NEST Application Form 2025
The application process for the upcoming National Entrance Screening Test 2025 has been started by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar. Students who want to apply can fill out the form by following simple steps. After the completion of the application process, the correction window will be opened from May 10 to May 14, 2025. NEST 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the NEST exam, students must have passed the Class 12 board exam in 2023 or 2024 with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved categories). NETS Age Limit Criteria 2025
- For general and OBC Category applicants, should have been born after August 2001.
- There are a total of five years of relaxation for SC/ ST candidates.
Educational Qualification for NEST 2025
- Students must have cleared their class 12th examination or equivalent in 2023, 2024, or be appearing for the 12th Standard examination or equivalent in 2025, regardless of category.
- Candidates must have Mathematics as the mandatory subject in the 10+2 exam.
- Other mandatory subjects are physics, chemistry, biology, or life science subjects.
Minimum Marks Required
- Attain at least 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class XII examination from any recognized Board in India. For SC, ST, and Divyangjan candidates, the minimum requirement is 55%.
State-wise Quota
- Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana state have a quota of 15%.
