The SBI PO syllabus is very similar to that of any other bank exam. There are three major sections that a candidate needs to prepare to ace the preliminary exam. These are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. The sections have a wide range of topics on which questions are based. It is recommended that candidates have a look at the previous year's papers and know about the weightage of each topic.
SBI PO Syllabus 2025
SBI PO 2025 Notification has been released with 600 PO Vacancies announcing that the prelims exam will be conducted on the 8th, 16th, and 24th March 2025 and the Mains exam in April 2025. The preliminary examination of the SBI PO 2025 will comprise Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. The main examination of SBI PO 2025 comprises of Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and English Language. SBI PO Exam Pattern 2025 [Revised]
State Bank of India (SBI) conducts 2 stages of online examination i.e. Preliminary and Mains. Only the candidates qualifying in both stages will be eligible to appear for the interview round. SBI PO Descriptive Test
The Descriptive Paper of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
Besides the preliminary exam and the main exam, an interview process is also conducted for candidates who qualify for the first two phases of the SBI PO exam.
The final merit list is made based on marks obtained by a candidate in his/ her main exam and interview process.
