NEET Exam Paper Pattern

The NEET Exam, or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, is for students aiming to pursue medical and dental courses in India. It is a three-hour and 20-minute exam with 200 multiple choice questions out of which candidates have to attempt any 180 of them. The question paper typically comprises questions related to physics, Chemistry, and Biology from 10+2 level syllabus. NEET Marking Scheme

All the candidates appearing for the NEET Exams must be curious to know that how many questions are there in the NEET Exams and for how many marks. So this is to inform them the NEET Exam, is conducted for a total of 720 marks. There are 200 questions out of which candidates are required to attempt any 180 of them. The exam is structured into two sections per subject: where section A has 35 questions, while section B has 15 questions. It is crucial for students to answer carefully to avoid losing marks due to incorrect responses. So, managing time wisely and focusing on accuracy are key strategies for scoring well in NEET.

• Each question in the NEET question paper will carry 4 marks.
• There will be a negative marking for each incorrect answer. That means 01 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
