The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is responsible for conducting the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE 2025) to recruit eligible candidates for the Assistant Bureau Officer, Block Supply Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Planning Assistant posts. Jharkhand SSC CGL Selection Process 2025

The candidates are primarily selected for the different positions under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission on the basis of written exams (Papers 1, 2, and 3) and document verification. The recruitment of candidates for various vacant posts under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission is based on two stages:

Stage 1: Written Exam (Paper 1, 2 & 3)

Stage 2: Document Verification

JSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2025

There will be 3 papers in the JSSC CGL exam, which will be of 2 hours duration each. The mark distribution and number of questions for each paper have been tabulated below. 

JSSC CGL Paper 1 Exam Pattern 2025

1. Paper 1 comprises two language papers—Hindi and English.
2. Questions are objective, multiple-choice type questions.
3. The questions are based on unseen passages and grammar.
4. Paper 1 exam is qualifying in nature.
5. It will be necessary for the candidates to bring 30% marks for qualifying.

JSSC CGL Paper 2 Exam Pattern 2025

1. JSSC CGL Paper 2 consists of a regional or selected language paper.
2. Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions for 100 marks.
3. Each question carries 3 marks, and for every wrong question, 1 mark is deducted.
4. The questions will be set in Hindi and English.

JSSC CGL Paper 3 Exam Pattern 2025

1. Paper 3 contains General Knowledge.
2. All questions are objective, multiple-choice type questions.
3. Each question carries 3 marks.
4. There will be a negative marking for every wrong question; 1 mark is deducted.
5. The questions will be set in Hindi and English.

JSSC CGL Syllabus 2025

The JSSC CGL Exam is a graduate-level exam that is conducted every year by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates for different positions under the JSSC. The exam consists of 3 main papers and the detailed syllabus of all the papers has been discussed below:

JSSC CGL Paper 1 Syllabus for Languages

1. Paper-1 checks the knowledge of the candidates in both Hindi and English and is qualifying in nature.
2. The qualifying marks of Paper-1 are 30% of the total marks.
3. 1 correct question will buy 3 marks.
4. 1 wrong question will penalize -1 mark.

1. Candidates are required to select one regional paper of their choice among the given papers.
2. The minimum qualifying marks for this paper is 30%
3. One right answer secures 3 marks, whereas the wrong answer deducts 1 mark.
