JPSC 2025 Selection Process

The selection criteria for Jharkhand PSC consists of three stages namely Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Interview round. The candidates need to score minimum qualifying marks in the prelims exam to be shortlisted for the mains exam. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in the JPSC Mains and Interview Round.

JPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English language.
The examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each.
The questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
The duration of the Jharkhand JPSC Prelims Exam for each paper is 2 hours (120 minutes),

JPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2025

For JPSC Mains Paper 1, every candidate will have to secure a minimum of 30 marks and this paper will only be qualifying in nature.
Marks scored in JPSC Mains Paper 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be counted in the final selection.
The questions asked in the Mains exam will be descriptive in nature.
The duration for each paper is 3 hours.
