JKPSC CCE Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the JKPSC CCE will be based on their performance in the preliminary, mains, and interview. Those who clear the prelims will be called to appear for the main exam, followed by the interview round. 

  • Preliminary Examination (400 marks)
  • Mains Examination (1750  marks)
  • Interview (250 marks)

JKPSC CCE Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The JKPSC CCE preliminary exam consists of two papers, namely, paper I and paper II. Each paper comprises 200 marks and 2 hours will be given to complete the exam.

  • The papers are General Studies Paper-I and General Studies Paper-II
  • Multiple-type objective questions will be asked in the exam
  • 2 hours will be given to complete each paper
  • There will be negative marking and 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
  • The General Studies Paper-II is a qualifying paper with a minimum qualifying marks of 33%
