IB ACIO Selection Process 2025
The selection process for the Intelligence Bureau ACIO 2025 exam is divided into three phases, which are given below. The IB ACIO Grade-II/ Executive Recruitment 2025 posts are subject to All India Service Liability, which means candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.
1. Tier 1 (Phase-1)- 100 Objective Type Questions
2. Tier 2 (Phase-2)- Descriptive Type
3. Interview (Phase-3)
IB ACIO Tier 1 exam is a written objective-type exam. The candidates who will clear the Tier 1 exam will then appear in the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam is descriptive and to pass the Tier 2 exam, candidates are required to score at least 33% marks (as per the rule). Based on Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam performances, candidates will be called for an interview for the final round of selection.
IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2025
- The questions in Tier 1 Exam will be Objective-type questions and in Tier 2, the questions will be descriptive.
- For each incorrect answer in IB ACIO Tier 1, there will be a negative marking of ¼ mark.
- The time duration for each tier is 1 hour.

IB ACIO Interview Process
Candidates who will be qualified in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams will be selected for the final round i.e. interview round. The IB ACIO interview round comprises 100 marks. Candidates appearing in interviews may be subject to the Psychometric/Aptitude Test, which will be a part of the interview.
