Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has released Official Notification for EPFO SSA Recruitment 2019 on 27th June. Through this recruitment process, EPFO will recruit 2189 vacancies for the posts of Social Security Assistant (SSA). EPFO SSA Eligibility Criteria
a) Education Qualifications:
| Essential | i. Degree of a recognized university or equivalent as on the closing date for online registration of application i.e 21st July, 2019. ii. Possessing a speed of at least 5000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work. |
| Desirable | Should Possess a Computer Training Certificate from a recognized Institute. |
NOTE-1: Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed Essential qualification SHOULD NOT APPLY.
NOTE-1: Recognized University means i) a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or an Act of State Legislature in India or ii) an educational institute established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956).
NOTE-3: Computer Training Certificate from a recognized Institute means a certificate issued by an Institute recognized by State / Central Government or accredited/affiliated to a recognized university.
NOTE-4: The computer data entry test will be held for 15 minutes and the essential qualification of at least 5000 key depression per hour would be accordingly adjusted proportionately.
b) Nationality / Citizenship
(i) A candidate must be either:
a. a citizen of India, or
b. a subject of Nepal, or
c. a subject of Bhutan, or
d. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
e. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
f. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
(ii) A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
c) Age Limit:
Between 18 to 27 years as on the closing date for online registration of application i.e. 21st July, 2019.
