The National Testing Agency (NTA) has specified the CUET syllabus for the candidates who are going to appear for the Common University Entrance Test. Most probably CUET UG 2024 is scheduled to be held between May 15 to May 24, 2024, therefore the students must buckle up and start their preparation for the exam without wasting a single minute. The CUET syllabus 2024 will be helpful for the students to have a clear vision of the subjects and units to be prepared for the entrance exam. CUET Syllabus 2024 and Exam Pattern
National Testing Agency will be conducting the CUET Exam in 13 different languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Punjabi. This year the National Testing Agency has decided to conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 in hybrid mode (i.e., Computer Based Test & Pen-Paper mode). CUET Syllabus 2024
The first section of CUET 2024 will assess the candidates' language through reading comprehension, literature aptitude, and vocabulary. The Domain subject assesses the candidates' subject knowledge for the course they wish to apply for. The last section, the General test, measures the candidates' general knowledge, current affairs, and logical and analytical reasoning. CUET 2024 UG Exam Pattern
All the students appearing for the CUET entrance test 2024 are informed that the exam will be conducted in three slots. The time duration of the first slot is 120 minutes and the time duration of the second slot will be 120 minutes. Whereas the time duration of the CUET UG exam for the third slot will be 180 minutes. The CUET 2024 will comprise four domain papers, one language paper, and one general test paper. Alternatively, students can opt for three domain papers, two language papers, and one general test paper. The CUET 2024 examination per subject will be for a total of 200 marks. Students are informed that if none of the options are found correct, a question is found to be wrong, or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be awarded five marks. The CUET 2024 exam has been divided into four sections as per the revised CUET Exam Pattern 2024.

CUET 2024 Marking Scheme
All the CUET 2024 aspirants are informed that the CUET marks distribution will be the same for both slots of examinations. Students will be awarded with 05 marks for each correct answer. However, for every incorrect attempt, 1 mark will be deducted. If a question remains unanswered, neither marks will be awarded nor deducted. This marking scheme encourages accuracy, as getting the answer right significantly boosts the score, but a wrong attempt carries a penalty. Once the exam is successfully conducted the CUET 2024 marking scheme will help the students with random guesses, fostering a thoughtful approach to answering questions.
