WBPSC Judicial Service Eligibility Criteria 2025
The candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for West Bengal Judicial Service 2025 with respect to education, age limit, and nationality.
Educational Qualification
The candidates must have secured a degree in Law, at least a bachelor’s degree. Those who have a master’s degree in law are also eligible to apply. Even those who have completed an integrated course can apply.
Age Limit
The age limit is between 23 and 35 years for the Civil Judge posts. Beyond this age limit, candidates are not eligible to apply.

WBPSC Judicial Service Personality Test
The personality test or interview tests a candidate’s communication skills, analytical ability, general awareness, and overall suitability to become a civil judge. The interview is worth 200 marks.
West Bengal Civil Judge Salary 2025
The monthly remuneration range for a West Bengal Civil Judge High Court is between Rs. 27,700 and Rs. 44,700. You will be eligible for other benefits and allowances in addition to the WBPSC Civil Judge Salary, including the House Rent Allowance (HRA), travel allowance, and dearness allowance. The base salary at the time of joining will be Rs. 27,700.
- The basic pay will increase by Rs. 770 annually till it reaches Rs. 33,900. The increment would be Rs 920 annually until the income reaches Rs 40,450 when it reaches Rs 33,900.
- The basic income of 27,700, the dearness allowance of 29,639, and the medical allowance of 1500 will add up to 58,839 total salary at the first level.
