UPPSC RO ARO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024 for Prelims and Mains Exam

As the UPPSC RO ARO Exam 2024 has been scheduled for 22nd December 2024, the candidates who are planning to appear in the exam must have started their exam preparation. The first stage i.e. prelims exam consists of 200 questions from General Studies and General Hindi. UPPSC RO ARO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024

As the prelims exam pattern is revised, now there will be a single paper including questions from General Studies and General Hindi subjects. The selection process for the said vacancies under UP RO ARO includes 3 stages i.e. Prelims, Mains and Typing Test. Both prelims and typing test are qualifying and final selection will be done on basis of marks scored in Mains Exam.

Note:- Earlier there were 2 papers in the UPPSC RO ARO Prelims Exam 2024, but now there will be a single paper for General Studies and Hindi subjects.

  • The UPPSC RO ARO Prelims exam consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
  • There will be 1 paper for a total of 200 marks.
  • For each correct answer, 01 mark will be rewarded and there will be a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Candidates from the SC/ ST category are required to score a minimum of 35% and from other categories, candidates are required to score a minimum of 40% marks in prelims exam.

UPPSC RO ARO Syllabus for Hindi Essay

In UPPSC RO ARO Mains Examination is divided into three papers. Paper 3 for Hindi Essay. There will be 3 questions/ Essay and candidates have to be written within the given word limit. Candidates have to write 3 essays choosing one topic from three sections.
