UP Police Constable Vacancy 2025 Out for 19220 Posts, Notification in April

UPPRPB has released a short notice on 27th March 2025 on its twitter account announcing 19220 constable vacancies for various posts for UP Police Force. The detailed notification pdf will be uploaded by end of April 2025 at www.uppbpb.gov.in.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has also announced 19220 Constable posts for which 10th and 12th pass candidates will be recruited. The board has received a requisition of a total of 19220 posts for direct recruitment on various posts of constable level from the Headquarters Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh. UP Constable Vacancy 2025

For the year 2025-26, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will conduct the recruitment drive for Constable level PAC, UP Special Security Force, Constable PAC women Bandayu / Gorakhpur / Lucknow women battalion, Constable civil police, Constable PAC / armed police, and Constable mounted police posts.

Eligibility for UP Police Constable Vacancy 2025

Parameters	Details
Education Qualification	The candidate should be 10th and 12th pass/intermediate till the last date of form submission from any recognized board Or any equivalent qualification approved by the Government.
Age Limit	Males- 18 to 25 years Females- 18 to 28 years

Selection Process for UP Constable Vacancy 2025

Candidates eligible for various Constable posts will be selected through the following stages.

Stages	Details
Online Examination	150 questions from 4 subjects for 300 marks total Negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer.
Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST)	The candidate’s original documents shall be checked by the officials Physical Measurement Test (PMT) includes measurement of height & chest (only for males) Qualifying in nature.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)	Male candidates have to run a 4.8 km distance in 25 minutes and the female candidates have to run a 2.4 km distance in 14 minutes. Qualifying in nature.
Detailed Medical Examination	DME (Detailed Medical Examination) to be conducted for finally selected for the released vacancies.
