Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the exam date for UP Enforcement Constable, which is scheduled for 11th May 2025. UP Enforcement Constable Selection Process 2025

The selection process for UP Enforcement Constable consists of four stages-

1. Written Test- Candidates who have cleared the UP PET are eligible for the written exam. Candidates must clear the written exam to be called for the Physical test.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- The physical tests measure the physical ability of the candidates to check whether they are physically fit or not.
3. Document verification- All the required certificates related to the qualifications are presented before the authority.
4. Medical Examination- Eyesight, deformity, etc, will be checked in the medical examination; if they fail, they will be disqualified

UP Enforcement Constable Exam Pattern 2025

As per the notification, the exam pattern for the UP Enforcement Constable exam consists of two parts, of which the second part is qualifying in nature.

1. There are 100 questions in part 1 and 50 questions in part 2.
2. Candidates must score at least 17 marks (33%) to qualify in Part 2 of the written exam.
3. The merit list is based on the marks obtained in Part 1.
4. 2 hours are given to complete the examination
5. 1/4 of the marks will be subtracted for every correct attempt.
6. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct attempt.

Essential information related to public transport (in the context of the state of Uttar Pradesh)

• Functional and Under-construction different Expressways in Uttar Pradesh, National Highways and their utility.
• O.D.R., M.D.R., and Rural Roads.
• Different modes of Public Transport,
• Structure, Powers, Duties and Responsibilities of Uttar Pradesh State Transport related Institutions, Relevant provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1997,

Environment-friendly means of modern road transport (in the context of the state of Uttar Pradesh).

• Vehicular emissions and their effects on public health
• Need and effect of electric vehicles
• Policies implemented by the Central Government and the Uttar Pradesh Government in relation to reducing air and noise pollution and their impact
  New Scrap Policy: Need and effect, Environmental impact of e-waste from old vehicles.

Knowledge related to road safety

• General knowledge of different types of lane driving/traffic indicators and traffic signals and their effect Side effects and social aspects of overloading in goods vehicles.
• Road accidents in India and Uttar Pradesh and data of injury and death caused due to road accidents and its social and economic aspects, Powers and effects of the Supreme Court’s Committee on Road Safety on road accidents.
• Concept of road safety, types of roads, speed limits prescribed on them and effect of speed violations, Work and responsibilities of Road Construction Agency, Education Department, Medical Department in relation to road safety.
• Special provisions taken by the Central and State Government in relation to reducing road accidents and provisions in the New Motor Vehicles Act, 2019, measures to be taken in relation to reducing the loss of life and property as a result of road accidents, Duties of driver and common citizen in case of road accident, Concept of Good Samaritan and their rights.

General awareness related to general administration and technical knowledge

• Need and effect of BH series number plate
• Requirement of Motor Driving Training School, Driver Driving Manual,
• Need and effect of HSRP number plate.
• Requirement of Pollution Certificate and Bharat Stage Emission Standards Impact of new Information Technology on transport department.

General information related to the state of Uttar Pradesh

In this part of the question paper, questions based on History, Culture, Art, Architecture, Festivals, Folk Dance, Literature, Regional Languages, Heritage, Social Customs and Tourism, Geographical Landscape and Environment, Natural Resources, Climate Soll, Forest, Wildlife, Mines and Minerals, Economy, Agriculture, Industry, Business and Employment, Polity, Administration of Uttar Pradesh and Current Events and Achievements of Uttar Pradesh State in various fields etc. will be asked from the candidates.

PART – II

Knowledge of Concepts of Computer and Information Technology, and Contemporary Technological Development and Innovation in this field

• History, Introduction and Application of Computer, Information Technology, Internet and World Wide Web.
• Web (WWW)
• General Knowledge related to:

1. Hardware and Software Input and Output
2. Operation of Printer, Tablet, and Mobile
3. Important elements of Word Processing (MS Word) and Excel Processing (MS-Excel)
4. Operating System, Social Networking, e-Governance
5. IT gadgets and their application
6. Internet Protocol/IP Address
7. Creation of e-mail ID and use/operation of e-mail

• Technological Development and Innovation in the field of Computer and Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Processing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Internet of Things) and India’s achievements in this field, etc.
