The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET Admit Card 2024 for the December cycle on the official website at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/. The UGC NET Admit Card has been released for the exam is scheduled for 7th, 8th and 9th January 2025 and the admit card for the remaining days will be released soon by NTA. Candidates download the admit card from the official website of UGC NET by providing the login details application number and date of birth. UGC NET Admit Card 2024 Out
The UGC NET December 2024 Examination for 85 subjects is scheduled for 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th January 2025. The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode in two shifts from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 06:00 pm at various exam centres across the country. The UGC NET 2024 Admit card is a mandatory document to appear in the exam which provides candidates with all the important details including your name, venue of exam, shifts and others.
The UGC NET exam is a national-level exam conducted twice every year (June & December) to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges.

To access your admit card, you need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in/. Follow these steps to download your admit card:
- Visit the official website National Testing Agency-UGC at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.
- In front of the latest update section on the homepage click on the link that reads “UGC NET December 2024: Click Here to Download Admit Card”.
- Candidates are redirected to a new login page.
- Enter the application number and date of birth.
- Enter the security pin displayed on the screen.
- The UGC NET Admit Card December 2024 appears on the candidate’s screen.
- Download this admit card and take a printout of it for future reference.

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
- The UGC NET exam will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test).
- The UGC NET consists of 2 papers.
- In papaer 1 questions asked assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate and in Paper 2 are based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.
- A total of 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked for a total of 300 marks.
- For every correct answer, candidates will get 2 marks and there is no negative marking for incorrect or wrong answers in both papers.
