The Directorate of School Education, Government of Telangana, conducts the TS DSC Online test every year to recruit candidates for various teaching posts like Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), School Assistants, Language Pandits, and Physical Education Teachers. Candidates who clear the examination will get a pay scale ranging from Rs. 42300 to Rs. 115270. TS DSC Salary 2025

The TS DSC will release the TS DSC Notification 2025 and will be announcing various vacancies. As there are multiple posts, the salary for each post varies based on their level and responsibilities. The TS DSC Salary is as per the 7th Pay Commission guidelines, is Rs. 500000 to Rs. 600000 annually, which is a good salary package for the newly recruited candidates.

TS DSC Salary Structure 2025

The salary for the different teaching positions under the recruitment process is as follows:

1. School Assistant/ Language Pandit Grade I: The pay scale for these posts is from Rs. 42,300 to Rs. 1,15,270 per month.
2. Secondary Grade Teacher/ Physical Education Teacher/ Language Pandit Grade II: The salary range for these posts is Rs. 31,040 to Rs. 92,050 per month.

TS DSC Perk and Allowances

In addition to the TS DSC salary 2025, appointed candidates gets various perks and allowances as a part of their salary package. These benefits are given to improve the financial well-being and job satisfaction of employees.

1. Dearness Allowance– The dearness allowance is given to tackle the high rate of Inflation, and it is set as 22.75% of the Basic salary. This allowance is revised periodically as per the pay commission guidelines.
2. House Rent Allowance– House Rent Allowance (HRA) is given to employees to help them manage their home rental expenses, particularly when they live in accommodation that is not provided by the government. Approximately Rs. 4000 is given to the appointed teachers as a accommodation.

TS DSC Job Profile for Teachers

The roles and responsibilities for the teachers includes helping teachers, maintaining classroom order, preparing lessons, supporting those in need,  assessing students and connecting students, teachers, and parents.

1. Teaching– A teacher’s main responsibility is to teach their subject, prepare the necessary materials, and make learning easier for students.
2. Evaluation of Performance– In terms of academic performance, teachers evaluates the students’ progress through exams and assignments.
3. Administrative work- Besides teaching, they also handle Administrative Work, which includes managing attendance, preparing report cards etc.
4. Management of classrooms- The management is the most important part in maintaining the discipline in the classroom.
5. Organise Events- They organises the school events, sports events, inspections, and work together with the staff members to increase the overall performance of the School
