The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has officially announced 1,299 vacancies of Sub-Inspectors (SI) posts for Taluk Police and Armed Reserve (AR) forces. Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Sub-Inspector (SI) posts released under TNURSRB SI Notification 2025, the candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Education Qualification	A Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Government is required
Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025)	Between 20 and 30 years old as of July 1, 2025
Physical Standards	Men: Minimum height of 170 cm; chest measurement of 81 cm with an expansion of 5 cm. Women: Minimum height of 159 cm.

TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2025 Selection process

Candidates will be selected based on Written test, Certificate Verification and Physical Tests, Viva-voce and special marks. “After completion of the Viva-Voce, the candidates will be provisionally selected for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Taluk and AR) based on the total marks obtained by them in main written examination, PET, Viva-Voce & Special marks and age eligibility by following the rule of Communal Reservation.”
