The Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) is a state-level exam held every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor posts in Universities / Colleges of Tamil Nadu. The TN SET exam has been conducted on 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th March 2025, on various centers across the state. After completion of the recruitment process, the result will be released on the official website, https://trb.tn.gov.in/.
TN SET Exam Date 2025 Out
Thousands of candidates who applied for the TN SET exam are notified that the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TN SET) 2025 is scheduled to take place from 6th to 9th March 2025. The TN SET exam consists of 2 papers. Paper I will be common to all the candidates, while Paper II will be based on the PG subject chosen by the candidates (as given in the TNSET list of subjects). There is no negative marking in the TN SET exam.
TN SET Exam Date 2025 Notice
As per the official notice regarding the exam date of the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET), the exam will be held in CBT mode from 6th to 9th March 2025 and the hall ticket for same has been released 7 days prior to the exam date i.e. 27th February 2025 on the official website https://trb.tn.gov.in/. The Answer Key of Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) will be released soon on the official website https://trb.tn.gov.in/. TNSET Exam Pattern 2024
Candidates who are planning to appear for the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) must be aware of the TNSET Exam Pattern to know the topics to be asked in the exam, total no. of questions, total marks, time duration, etc.
- The TN SET exam will be held in computer-based mode.
- In TN SET exam consists of objective type and multiple choice questions (MCQ).
- The time duration for the exam will be 03 hours. There will be no break between the papers.
- There is no negative mark for incorrect answers.
