1. Junior Assistant-  Minimum service of 3 years as a Village Revenue Officer (VRO) can be promoted to Junior Assistant. After the promotion, the pay scale will be Rs. 24,280 to Rs. 72,850.
2. Senior Assistant- After a minimum of 2 years of service the Junior Assistant can be promoted to Senior Assistant.
3. Revenue Inspector- 10 years of service as a senior assistant and after passing the group I examination can be promoted to Revenue Inspector.
4. Deputy Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO)– Minimum 5 years of service as a Revenue Officer can be promoted to Deputy Mandal Revenue Officer.
5. Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO)– Deputy Mandal Revenue Officer can be promoted as Mandan Revenue Officer after passing the group II examination.
