Telangana Police Constable In-hand Salary 2025

The total In-hand Salary after adding all allowances, benefits and perks can reach up to Rs. 31,000 per month in urban areas, whereas in rural areas it will be Rs. 29,000 per month. The total in-hand pay for the Telangana Police Constable is equal to Pay scale (Rs. 24,280- Rs. 72,850) + HRA ( up to 20% of Basic salary, depending on the areas) + DA (20% of Basic Salary) + TA – PF(10% of the basic Salary)and other deductions.

Telangana Police Constable Perks & Allowances 2025

Telangana Police Constables will get other allowances in addition to the basic salary and other benefits like Internet facility, Study leaves, Mobile/Telephone Connection, Paid holidays, Increments and incentives, Job training, Health insurance, Leave and Travel Concession, Bonus, Benefits after retirement. Dearness Allowance (DA): Candidates can get approximately up to 22% of their basic salary,  adjusted according to the cost of living.

After joining as Telangana Police Constables, candidates may work in urban or rural areas. And it also includes long hours, night shifts, patrolling duties and field duties, especially during times of crises and serious situations.

Maintaining Law & Order- Make sure that no crimes happen and keep the public areas safe. Make sure everything is peaceful during festivals, rallies, and large gatherings.

Patrolling Duties- Moving around the areas to prevent criminal activity. And answering emergency calls without delay, and reaching the location to help.

Telangana Police Constable Career Growth

Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline can get the opportunity to become ASIs by passing the internal departmental examination. Without giving a departmental exam, candidates have to serve 5 years as a Police constable to get promoted as a Head constable. Candidates have to complete 12 years of service to get promoted to the A.S.I. and an additional 15 years to get promoted to the post of Sub-Inspector.
