Supreme Court Law Clerk Selection Process 2025

The selection for the post of Supreme Court Law Clerk is based on three stages. Candidates qualifying for the objective test will be eligible for the subjective test, followed by an interview. The selection process is as follows:

• Stage 1: An objective test will be conducted for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to assess candidates’ understanding and application of the law, as well as comprehension skills.
• Stage 2: A subjective written test will be conducted to evaluate writing and analytical skills.
• Stage 3: Candidates qualifying for both stages will be called for interviews.

Supreme Court Law Clerk Exam Pattern 2025

The Supreme Court Law Clerk Exam Pattern is divided into 3 parts, i.e., part 1, part 2, and part 3. Check the exam pattern and prepare accordingly.

Part 1: Objective Test

• Mode: Online.
• Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) test legal knowledge, reasoning, and comprehension.
• Duration: 2.5 hours

Part 2: Subjective Test

• Mode: Pen and paper.
• Analytical and descriptive questions on legal scenarios and judgment writing.
• Duration: 3.5 hours

Part 3: Interview

It will be held to evaluate the candidate’s legal acumen, articulation, and overall suitability.
