RSMSSB Jail Prahari Exam Details
Through this recruitment, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced to recruit candidates for 803 Jail Prahari posts for which a Written Test and a Physical Efficiency Test are to be conducted. The Rajasthan Jail Prahari written exam is the 1st stage of selection, which will be held in offline mode in two shifts (10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm). The exam will consist of 100 questions for 400 marks from Analysis and Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge / General Science / Social Science and Current Affairs, History of Rajasthan, Culture, Art, Geography, etc. The duration to complete the exam is 2 hours.

Rajasthan Jail Prahari Exam Timings
The written test will be conducted in offline mode in two shifts:
Morning shift: 10 am to 12 noon
Afternoon shift: 3 pm to 5 pm
Candidates must report to their respective exam centre around 1 hour before the exam starts. The candidates whose exam is in morning shift must reach the exam centre before 9 am and for second shift, must reach before 2 pm.

- Male candidates should wear a half/full-sleeve shirt/T-shirt, kurta pajama, pants. Candidates are not allowed to come wearing jeans.
- Female candidates should have to wear a salwar suit, chunni or saree, half / full sleeve kurta/blouse, and a simple rubber band in their hair.
- Candidates are not allowed to wear any kind of jewelery like bangles, earrings, rings, bracelets etc. except thin lac/glass bangles.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any type of watch, sunglasses, pin, talisman/ amulet, cap/ hat, scarf, stole, shawl, muffler in the examination center.
- Sikh religion candiadtes are allowed to carry religious symbols like Kada, Kirpan and Turban etc. The Kirpan should be of small size and covered and not be allowed to be kept on the examination table.

RSMSSB Jail Prahari Selection Process 2025
The selection process for Jail Prahari (जेल प्रहरी) posts includes the following stages.
- Written Examination – The first stage is a written exam, which will be conducted for all those candiadets who successfully registered for the exam. The written exam consists of 100 MCQ-based questions for a total of 400 marks.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualified candidates in the written exam will be eligible to appear for the Physical exam, which tests candidates ‘ endurance and fitness levels for the posts.
- Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates have to present their original documents, the same as submitted during the application form, for verification.
- Medical Examination – A final health assessment will be conducted to ensure that candidates meet the necessary medical standards.
