RBI Grade B 2024 Exam Summary

The selection of the candidates is done based on three stages namely Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. A candidate who is shortlisted for RBI Grade B Officer posts has to qualify in each of the stages by scoring more than the cut-off released for that particular stage. The basic pay for RBI Grade B officers has been revised to Rs. 55,200/- wherein the gross pay reaches to Rs. 1,08,404/-. RBI Grade B Vacancy 2024

Last year 291 vacancies were released for RBI Grade B posts out of which 222 were for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–(General), 38 for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR and 31 for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DSIM department. For this year also it is expected that RBI Grade B Vacancy 2024 can be around 300.

RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India. For Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)- (General)

Education Qualification: Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with a minimum 60% marks for General and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants OR Candidates must have done their Post-Graduation / Equivalent technical qualification with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years.

Age Limit: 21 years to 30 years

For Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DSIM)

Education Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur or Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks.

Age Limit: 21 years to 30 years

For Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DEPR)

Education Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course / Finance with a minimum of 55% marks.

RBI Grade B 2024 Apply Online

The link for online application submission will be activated with the release of RBI Grade B Notification 2024 and it is expected to be activated on 18th July 2024. Candidates holding the required eligibility criteria and falling in the set age limit have to submit their application forms before the due date. The registration process will be conducted at the official website www.rbi.org.in and there will no other means to submit your applications.

Steps to Apply for RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024

1. With an active internet connection, open the official Reserve Bank of India website: www.rbi.org.in in your browser.
2. Click on the “Opportunities@RBI” link found on the home page.
3. Select “Current Vacancies” and then “Vacancies” to see the latest openings.
4. Find the notification for the RBI Grade B Officer Recruitment 2024 and click on it to read the detailed advertisement.
5. If you are a new user, click on the “New Registration” link. Fill in the necessary details to complete the registration process. You will receive a provisional registration number and password.
