The Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) is a state-level teacher eligibility test conducted annually for candidates interested in pursuing a B.Ed from government colleges in Rajasthan to make a career as a teacher in schools in Rajasthan, India. This examination is conducted for admission into 2-year courses such as B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed. respectively, at different institutes in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan PTET Exam Date 2025 Out

The Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET)- 2025 for the admission of 04 years B.Sc B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed course and 02 years B. Ed courses will be held on 15th June 2025 for all those candidates who applied for Rajasthan PTET. The PTET exam will be held in offline mode (pen and paper) and will consist of objective-type questions. PTET Admit Card 2025 will be released 07 to 10 days before the exam date along with the exam-related information.

Steps to Apply Online Rajasthan PTET 2025

Candidates can apply for Rajasthan PTET online by visiting the official website https://ptetvmoukota2025.in/ or from the direct link shared in the article. The step-by-step process to apply online for Rajasthan PTET is shared here.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Vardhman Mahavir Open University (VMOU), Kota, at https://ptetvmoukota2025.in/.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads ” Click Here for B.Sc B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed. 04 years course/ B.Ed 02 years course”.

Step 3: Fill out application forms by providing details including the candidate’s name, father’s name, and mobile number select the course and enter fee details then click on the Next tab.

Step 4: Upload the necessary document in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Submit the required application fee through online mode.

Step 6: Submit Rajasthan application forms and take printouts for future reference.

Rajasthan PTET Notification 2025 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee as mentioned in the notification pdf while submitting the Rajasthan PTET application forms. The fee for online application is Rs. 500/-. The application fee will be paid online mode. Application forms without an application fee will not be accepted.

Rajasthan PTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should ensure their eligibility to apply online for Rajasthan PTET 2025. The candidatures of candidates who do not fulfill eligibility parameters will be canceled, and admission will not be granted if they do not fulfill the eligibility conditions up to the last date of registration for online counseling.

Rajasthan PTET Selection Process

Based on the candidate’s performance in B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. Entrance Test 2025 (PTET exam 2025) merit list will be prepared showing the marks obtained by each candidate will be prepared. The allotment of college to the applicant will be made through an online counseling process based on their merit, as per his/her faculty, category, teaching subjects, choice of college filled, etc.

Rajasthan PTET Exam Pattern 2025

It is prior for the candidates to know the Rajasthan PTET exam pattern, total number of questions, total marks, topics to be included in the exam marking scheme etc. Understanding the exam pattern helps the candidates to prepare better preparation for the exam.

• The Rajasthan PTET exam will be held in offline mode (pen and paper).
• A total of 150 questions objective-type multiple-choice questions with at least four alternative answers will be asked.
• Topics to be asked in the PTET exam will be Mental Ability, Teaching attitude & Aptitude Test, General Awareness, and Language Proficiency.
• The exam will be held for a total of 03 hours.
• A total of 150 questions will be asked for a total of 600 marks.
• The Paper will be set both in English and Hindi except in the Language Proficiency Section.

Rajasthan PTET Counselling 2025

Candidates who qualify for the examination or score the minimum qualifying marks become eligible for the PTET Counselling session. During counseling, candidates will be allotted a seat in a B.Sc B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed is based on your rank, college preferences, and the number of available seats. Candidates need to pay Rs. 5000/- as the fee for online counseling through e-Mitra.

Rajasthan PTET 2025 Sheat Reservation

Reservation for Rajasthan domicile only will be made for Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties’ seats by the rules of the Government of Rajasthan. Candidates from other states will be considered only in the general category. Out of the total number of seats available for each faculty, a maximum of 5% will be reserved for candidates from other states based on their overall merit.
