OSSC LTR Teacher Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

All interested candidates must be aware of the eligibility parameters for Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers posts. Candidates’ eligibility will be determined in terms of educational and age limits. Candidates who don’t fulfill the required eligibility for their application forms will be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.

Educational Qualification

• TGT – Graduation in relevant stream from a recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed)/3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized Institution. OR Four-year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized Institution having 50% marks in aggregate.
• Hindi Teacher – Graduation from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the electives/ Optional/ Pass/ Honours subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  OR Graduation from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Classical (Sanskrit) Teacher – Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the elective/ optional/honors/ pass subjects from a recognized university with 50% marks (relaxed for SC/ ST/ PWD/ SEBC).
• Telugu Teacher – Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (with Telugu) from a recognized university with 50% marks (relaxed for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC) and B.Ed./B.A.-B.Ed. in Telugu from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• Urdu Teacher – Alim/Fazil with 50 % marks and B.ED/Urdu B.ed from NCTE. OR
  Ba(Persian) with 50 % and B.ED Urdu B.Ed from NCTE.
• Physical education Teacher – Candidates must have a 12th pass or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution. AND C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P. Ed from a recognized Board/University.

Age Limit (as on 1/01/2024)

Candidates’ minimum age should not be less than 21 not more than 38 years to be eligible to apply online for OSSC LTR Teacher Recruitment 2025. The upper age relaxation for SC, ST, SEBC, Women, PwD & Ex-Servicemen will be provided as follows:

• SEBC/ SC/ ST/ Women – 05 years
• PwD – 10 years

OSSC LTR Teacher Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection of candidates for Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers posts is based on Preliminary Examination (Objective), Main Written Examination, and Certificate Verification. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature. Based on marks obtained in the Prelims exam approx 05 times the number of candidates will be shortlisted (post wise & category wise) for appearing in the Main written exam. The final selection of candidates will be determined through verification of all relevant documents in support of age, qualification, and other eligibility.

OSSC LTR Teacher Exam Pattern 2025

• The OSSC LTR Prelims exam will consist of 01 papaer for a total of 100 marks.
• The OSSC LTR Exam will consist of objective-type multiple questions.
• For each question, 01 marks will be provided. There is a negative marking, 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.

OSSC LTR Teacher Salary 2025

Candidates who will be selected for Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers posts will be paid a monthly stipend along with various perks and allowances. Candidates for TGT, Hindi Teacher, Classical (Sanskrit) Teacher, Telugu Teacher, and Urdu Teacher will be paid Rs. 35000/- and candidates for Physical Education Teacher posts will be paid Rs. 29200/-.

• Physical Education Teacher – Rs. 29200/- as per Group-C, Cell-1, Level-8
• For Others Teacher Posts –  Rs. 35000/- as per Group-B, Cell-1, Level-9
