Candidates interested in sub-inspector posts must be aware of the Odisha Police SI Exam Pattern 2025 to effectively prepare for the exam and qualify for the exam.

• The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Mode.
• The medium of examination will be English and Odia.
• It consists of 2 Papers, Paper 1 for Odia and English Language and Paper 2 for General Studies.
• Paper 1 consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
• Paper 2 consists of 200 questions for 200 marks.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
• 120 minutes will be provided to complete the Paper and 180 minutes will be provided for Paper 2.

Physical Standard Test

Physical Standard Test (PST) will be based on the category of the candidates. Male candidates belonging to General and SEBC will have height of 168 cm, weight of 55 kg, and chest measurement of 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm when expanded. Female candidates belonging to General and SEBC will have height of 155 cm and weight of 47.5 kg respectively.

Physical Efficiency Test

After the written examination, candidates will have to qualify the Physical Standard Test (PST), those who qualify both will be moved forward to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Odisha Police SI Salary 2025

Candidates selected as Sub Inspector in the Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025 will get a Pay Band of Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- i.e. Rs. 35400/- of level 9.
