The National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2025 was successfully conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 13th April 2025. The result for the NDA 1 Exam has been officially released on 28th April 2025 at the official website http://www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned in the UPSC NDA Result 2025 PDF are declared qualified for the next stage of the selection process i.e. SSB Interview.

UPSC NDA Result 2025

Through the exam, a total of 404 vacancies will be filled for training at the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy for FY 2025-26. More than 3 lakh candidates registered for the NDA 2025 exam. The selection process for the NDA 1 exam is based on candidates’ performance in the written examination and the Intelligence & Personality Test (SSB).

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the PDF are requested to register online on the Indian Army Recruiting website at joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks of the results being announced. Successful candidates will then receive information about their allotted selection centres and dates for the SSB interview via their registered email addresses.

NDA 1 Result 2025 has been released online at the official website at www.upsc.gov.in. The scorecard of the candidates will be published on the Commission’s website within fifteen days from the date of publication of the final result (After concluding SSB Interviews).

1. Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission, www.upsc.gov.in or click on the NDA result link mentioned above.
2. On the home page, navigate to the “Written Results”.
3. It redirects you to the new page, click on “Examination Written Results”.
4. Now, click on the “National Defence Academy 1 2025” link.
5. The result PDF of NDA 1 opens.
6. Now, use Ctrl+f and enter your Roll No to check your name in the list.

UPSC NDA 1 Cut Off 2025

The cut marks are the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure in the written exam to be eligible for further rounds. UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2025- Marking Scheme

• Mathematics – This section carries a total of 300 marks. Candidates get 2.5 marks for each correct answer.
• General Ability Test – This section carries 400 marks. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.

What Next After NDA 1 Result 2025?

Candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned in the NDA 1 Result 2025 PDF are eligible to participate in the NDA SSB interview exam. Candidates are advised to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in, within two weeks of the announcement of the written result to choose the exam centers and dates for the SSB interview exam.

SSB Interview 

• The SSB interview evaluates both the intelligence and personality of candidates.
• The SSB Interview has two stages and takes place over five days. Qualified candidates in this stage will proceed to the stage II exam.
• Stage I includes the Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test and the Picture Perception and Description Test (PP&DT)
• Stage II includes the Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, and a final Conference
• The NDA SSB Interview carries a total of 900 marks

NDA Marksheet 2025

The NDA 1 Marksheet of the candidates who appeared in the exam will be released by UPSC within fifteen (15) days from the date of declaration of the final result. The NDA 1 mark sheet will contain the candidate’s marks in the written exam and interview. The mark sheets will remain available on the UPSC website for 30 days.

About NDA Exam 2025

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is held responsible for conducting the NDA Exam, which is a national-level examination for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force as officers. Every year, the NDA Exam is conducted twice and for the year 2025, NDA 1 is conducted on 13th April 2025 and NDA 2 will be conducted on 14th September 2025.
