  • Should have obtained Grade-I degree from an Institution of Engineers (UK) or (India)
  • Must know Marathi (Writing, Reading and Speaking)
  • Must have passed MSCI Exam
  • Must have completed at least 3 years of service as Deputy Fire Officer or equivalent in Class “A” Municipal Corporation/ Municipal Corporation/ Special Planning Authority/ Government/ Semi-Government Fire Service.

OR

  • Should have completed at least 5 years of service in the post of Sub-Fire Officer or equivalent post in “Bava’k’ Class Municipal Corporation
Sub-Officer
  • Should be a graduate of any discipline
  • Should have completed Deputy Fire Officer Course of National Fire Service College, Nagpur, or 1 year Deputy Station Officer and Fire Prevention Officer course of Maharashtra Fire Service Academy, Government of Maharashtra or The Institute of Fire Engineers (U.K. ) or (India).
  • Must know Marathi (Writing, Reading and Speaking)
  • Must have passed MSCIT Exam
  • Must have completed at least 5 years of regular service in the post of Chief Firefighter-Extinguisher or equivalent post in B’ and ‘C’ Class Municipal Corporation

Driver Operator
  • Must have passed Secondary School Examination
  •  Must know Marathi (Writing, Reading and Speaking) Preference if completed Fire Extinguisher Training Course of State Fire Extinguisher Training Centre, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai
  • Must have 3 years working experience as heavy vehicle driver
  • Valid heavy vehicle driving license required
Fitter cum Driver
  • Must have passed Secondary School Examination I.T.
  • Should have passed Motor Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic/Equivalent Course
  • Must know Marathi (Writing, Reading and Speaking)
  • Must have passed the MSCIT exam
