Through the MP TET Varg 2 Exam 2025 the Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MP ESB) has released a total of 10758 vacancies for Secondary Teachers (Subject, Sports and Music-Singing Playing), Primary Teachers (Sports, Music-Singing Playing and Dance) under MP Govt, School Education Department and Tribal Affairs Department.

MPESB Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have cleared the MP Teacher Eligibility Test of the relevant subject in the year 2018 / 2023 will be eligible to apply for MPESB Teacher Recruitment 2025.

Educational Qualification for Secondary Teachers

• Candidates must pass and qualify in the “Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 or 2023” with the prescribed percentage will be eligible to apply. (And)
• Candidates must have a Graduate degree in the relevant subject and two years Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR)
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% marks and one year Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) (OR)
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with minimum 45% marks and Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) as per the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard (OR)
• Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and four years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (OR)
• Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and four year graduate degree in a relevant subject (B.A. B. Ed. / B.Sc. B. Ed. or B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed.) (OR)
• Graduation degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and one year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Educational Qualification for Primary Teacher

• Candidates must have passed and qualify with the prescribed percentage in the “Secondary Teacher- Sports Eligibility Test 2023” organized by the Staff Selection Board Madhya Pradesh Bhopal will be eligible to apply (And)
• It will be mandatory to have graduated in a relevant discipline (B.P.Ed./B.P.E.) or equivalent qualification with 50% marks.

Age Limit (01/01/2024)

Candidates’ minimum age should not be more than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 40 years for the unserved category. Check category-wise maximum age limit from the table below.

MPESB Teacher Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates appearing for the MP TET Vard 2 exam should be aware of the MPTET Varg 2 Exam Pattern 2025 to prepare effectively for the exam.

• The MP TET Varg 2 Teacher Exam consists of one question paper of 100 marks.
• The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
• All questions consist of multiple choice (MCQ) type questions.
• For each correct answer, 1 mark will be provided.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
• There will be 6 subjects in the question paper as given in the table below, out of which the candidate will appear in the examination only in the subject of his graduation degree.
