KGMU Recruitment Nursing Officer 2025 Summary

Candidates will be selected through the Common Recruitment Test (CRT). The test will be conducted for 100 marks and must be completed in 2 hours and candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks. King George’s Medical University (KGMU) has informed through the official notification that candidates must submit their applications for Nursing Officer through the Online Application Portal. The official start date for submitting applications has not been announced yet, but we know that the last date to submit applications is 14th May 2025, as stated in the official notification PDF.

Candidates must pay the application fees to complete the application form. Candidates belonging to the UR/OBC/EWS have to pay Rs. 2360 and other category candidates need to pay Rs 1416.

KGMU Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who wish to apply for the KGMU Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025 should ensure that they meet the educational and age requirements specified by the King George’s Medical University (KGMU). If they do not meet these standards, they will be disqualified from the recruitment process.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have one of the following classifications-

1. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC)-recognized institute/university,  or B.Sc. (Post Certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC-recognized institute/university, and must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
2. Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized institute/university, with registration as a Nurse & Midwife and a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.

Age Limit (As of 1/01/2025)

Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years of age to apply for the recruitment.
