Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has declared the results of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) on 01st May 2024 at www.kea.kar.nic.in. KCET Results 2024 Out

This year, 3.25 lakh candidates had appeared in the the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for students seeking admission to various courses in the state. It’s an offline exam where students used pen and paper to answer multiple-choice questions within a 3 hours. The exam was conducted in two days, with four sessions in total. On the first day, Mathematics and Biology exams in two separate sessions were conducted. On the following day, Physics and Chemistry exams are conducted in similar sessions.

KCET Marking Scheme 2024

The KCET 2024 exam is conducted in a pen-and-paper (OMR) format across various centers in Karnataka. The examination is taken in two days and divided into four sessions corresponding to four subjects. Each subject’s paper is worth 60 marks and lasts for 80 minutes. The question papers consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with different versions for each subject, where each question provides four options. The marking scheme for the KCET exam is given below.

• 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer.
• No marks will be given for multiple answers to the same question.
• There is no negative marking in the exam.
