The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is providing a good opportunity to candidates who have completed their BE/B. Tech degree and are a maximum of 28 years old. The selection of candidates for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts) in Level 10 of Pay Matrix is based on GATE Score and candidates’ performance in the Interview exam.

ISRO Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

While submitting the ISRO Application Form 2025, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/-. The fee can be paid online using Internet Banking, Unified Payment Interface (UPI), Debit Cards (Domestic), and Credit Cards (Domestic). All Women/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

ISRO Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for the ISRO Scientist Engineer Recruitment 2025 will include Shortlisting based on the GATE Scores and an interview. Shortlisting of the candidates for Interview in the ratio of 1:7 shall be based on the GATE Scores.

1. Shortlisting: The Shortlisting of candidates will be based on their GATE Scores.
2. Interview: The Interview will be of 100 marks that will include: Technical (Academic) knowledge (40 marks), General Awareness in relevance to the area of Specialisation (20 marks), Presentation/Communication Skill (20 marks), Comprehension (10 marks), and Academic achievements (10 marks).

Final Selection Weightage

• Candidates will have to score a minimum of 60 marks in the Interview, and PwBD candidates will have to score 50 marks in the interview.
• The Final Result will be based on a 50% weightage given to GATE Scores and a 50% weightage to Interview marks.

ISRO Scientist/Engineer Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix and will be paid a minimum basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- p.m. In addition, Dearness Allowance [DA], House Rent Allowance [HRA], and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules on the subject. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme/Unified Pension Scheme.
