India Post has released the results for Post Office GDS recruitment 2025. The result was released on 21st March 2025 at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in for the 21413 open positions in different states. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for document verification before 7th April 2025. In this article, we have shared the India Post’s GDS result pdf for all states.
India Post GDS Result 2025
The result is prepared based on marks obtained in the Secondary School Examination or 10th standard. The highest marks candidate will get the top rank. The shortlisted candidates now have to appear for Document verification before 7th April 2025 to the Divisional Head mentioned against their names in the GDS result pdf. Selected candidates will also get an SMS/email on their registered mobile number/email address regarding the other results and document verification.
How to Check India Post GDS Result 2025?
GDS Result 2025 pdf download links will be activated circle-wise at the official portal https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/.
- Visit the official website of India Post GDS Online at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/ or Download the state-wise result pdf attached below.
- On the left side of the homepage in the Candidate’s Corner, search for “List of Shortlisted Candidates”.
- Select the circle you have applied for.
- Download the GDS Result PDF for your respective circle.
- Search for your roll number with the Ctrl+F shortcut in the list of shortlisted candidates.
- If your roll number appears in the list, you are eligible to appear for a document verification round for which further details will be uploaded lately.

GDS Result 2025: Total Vacancy vs Shortlisted Candidates
India Post has shortlisted 21316 vacancies, while the total number of vacant posts was 21413. Candidates who did not make it to the 1st merit list, there is no need to lose hope. India Post will release the final result after the document verification of the 1st Merit List Candidates. Post Office GDS Result Selection Process
India Post GDS result has been prepared based on marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks (as explained in sub paras- iii to ix below) in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Passing all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.
For applicants where the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard mark sheet has marks or marks and Grade/Points both, only their total marks will be worked out by taking into account the marks obtained in all compulsory and elective/optional subjects (other than extra subjects, if any). This will ensure that applicants with higher marks get selected.
For applicants having only grades subject-wise, marks will be arrived for each subject (compulsory and elective subjects but not extra subjects by applying the multiplying factor of 9.5 in the following manner.
