IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025 for 4987 SA/Exe Vacancies, Notification in Oct/Nov

The Intelligence Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs is expected to release 4987 vacancies for Security Assistant/Executive posts, for which the official notification PDF will be released in October-November 2025. The candidates who have completed 10 classes have a good opportunity to be part of IB. IB Security Assistant Education Qualification

1. The candidate must have done Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education
2. Possession of domicile certificate of that state against which candidates have applied.

IB Security Assistant Age Limit

To apply for Security Assistant/executive posts, the candidates must not exceed the age limit of 27 years. The age relaxation for reserved categories is as follows-

IB SA Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

While applying for the IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025, the candidates will have to pay an application fee. The application fee will be paid online using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, mobile wallets, etc. Candidates, please note that this is an application fee that is non-refundable and once paid will not be refundable.

IB Security Assistant Exam Pattern 2025

To score well in the IB Security Assistant exam, candidates must have an idea of the exam pattern for exam. The exam consists of a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions for a total of 100 marks. The exam will be held for a total of 60 minutes, and there is negative marking; a 1/4 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.

IB Security Assistant Salary Structure

The appointed candidates for the post of Security Assistant will be paid an attractive monthly salary plus admissible Central Govt. allowances. The salary of a Security Assistant is as per pay level 3 and starting salary is Rs. 21700.
